2-Day guided Grief process

Saturday, Sept. 13th from 1-4pm and Sunday, Sept. 14th from 10am-2pm

Working with meditation, visualization, and a creative process to help access and move through grief.

What: As a culture, we have become disconnected from our grief and our ability to grieve. We are focused on doing and pushing through but not stopping and feeling. Grief, however, is an integral part of being human, and an essential piece of our physical and emotional health. Suppressed and unprocessed grief can manifest in the body as physical pain, fatigue, illness, anxiety, burnout, not feeling like ourselves, or many other chronic symptoms.

Who: This 2-day guided group grief process utilizes meditation, visualization, and a creative process to help access, be with, and move through any grief that may be coming up for you at this time. Grief can show up in many places such as with the loss of a loved one, pet, or relationship. It is also a part of any change – change in job, friendship, living location – as well as the loss (even if temporary) of abilities, activities, and time that may accompany an injury, illness, or chronic pain.

Although this process will be facilitated in a group setting, the experience is very individual and may look different for everyone. There is no “right or wrong” or expectations for what “should” be experienced. You also do not have to share your experience unless you choose to do so. All you need is an openness and willingness to discover what comes up for you during this process.
